Mother’s Day is the second Sunday in May in Australia and New Zealand. We know it can sometimes be tricky to get to the shops and what Mum doesn’t love a gift made with love? So we have put together three Mother’s Day card templates for your little learner to add their artistic touch to for a special gift that Mum or the special person in their life will love.

Click the yellow links to download the Mother’s Day cards. Print the cards on A4 paper then fold in half and half again along the dotted lines to make a card. Instructions for each card are below.

Mum and Me card

You child can colour in the picture then help your child to fill in the prompts about why they love their mum, they can also draw a special picture of them with their Mum.

Fingerprint card

Help your child to make fingerprint petals by dipping their finger into some paint (you may need to practise first) and pressing onto the card to make a flower. (This one is also suitable to give to Grandmothers or other special people.)

Five Things I Love About Mum card

Help your child to write five things they love about their Mum in the petals of the flower, they can then colour in the picture.

We hope all our Begin Bright Mums have a very special Mother’s Day with their loved ones.
